After being unable to make it back into the Lightweight/Cruiserweight picture for over two years Scott Holmes took his training to another level. Winning amatuer wrestling titles on his off time Holmes came back with a mission. He wanted to be known as not only the greatest small man of all time but the greatest wrestler in FWA history. After a lengthy rivalry with WMD Scott received a chance at Homecoming 2018 to face Derek Orton in a triple threat match which also included Hector Brayden of Havoc. After winning the title he swore to be a fighting champion and has been willing to put his title on the line any and every chance he gets. Whether its a main PPV, regular numbered show or even against X-League competition Scott Holmes has kept his word. He has been so proud of his reign that he requested that the Cruiserweight Championship be reclassified to the Light Heavyweight Championship bumping the weight limit from 205ibs to 240lbs and nearly doubling the competition. To further prove he's the best in FWA he also requested the title do not get locked on a specific show so either East or West rosters can contend for it.
